Lunar Eclipse

Mark and I stayed out Wednesday night to watch the total lunar eclipse. It will be the last eclipse until 2010, and I wanted to watch and remember it. It really was a beautiful thing to see, and the weather was co-operating for once, as it was a cool and clear evening. When you watch something like this, it really gives you a great perspective as to just how big and important we are not... Really helps you to put everything in it's proper place and realize that it's all been pre-arranged.

Sunday, Feb. 17th

Well, I'm leaving work soon, as Monday & Tuesday are my "weekend". Hopefully I'll be learning a bit more about this whole blogging thing, and finding some ways to perk this thing up. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful, and we'll be spending some time at the beach...
Ran into an old ex last night at a new restaurant we've been meaning to try. It was a bit awkward at first, but we spoke for a while and hugged as we parted. It was kind of a warm, fuzzy feeling for me, but I don't think my mate felt the same way. Anyway, I'll probably pay for it later. Hope everyone has a great two days.

Valentine's Day

Hope all had a grand Valentine's Day. My mate and I have been trying to spend some free time together, and opted to spend the evening at home. Had a nice dinner and a few hours to spend with the pets and catching up on each others' week. Nice for a change. This is my first attempt at this, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well and I improve day by day.
